Our Method

We offer a comprehensive approach with various personalized tools and support to help you achieve your health and wellness goals.

These tools include the Five Pillars of Health Coaching: diet, exercise, sleep, stress management, and mindset. Health and wellness are not about deprivation; they’re about finding balance. Our most significant memories are probably not centered around a diet, so we don’t focus on diet alone. We look at the whole person to make targeted changes that best serve all of you.

An initial, in-depth health analysis helps us understand your unique health concerns, needs, and objectives.

Our Strategy

Our strategies target diet, movement, stress management, sleep disorders, healthy behaviors, and menopause symptoms. In addition, we should consider the importance of balance, fall prevention, and interventions to slow the prevention or onset of certain diseases, such as pre-diabetes, rising A1C numbers, and sarcopenia.

When it comes to diet, we don’t view it as being ‘on a diet.’ We look at habits and patterns in a judgment-free zone and see where to adjust.  Our approach to food journal analysis is a fact-finding mission, and it’s only three days. If you’re open to it, we can also evaluate your pantry. This pantry makeover can be a visual reset and revamping your relationship with food. It doesn’t mean there are good or bad foods. It’s an awareness and balance. I cannot imagine not having treats in my pantry!

Our grocery store tours are designed to empower you. We help you navigate marketing tactics, save time, shop confidently, and understand food labels. It’s about giving you the knowledge and skills to make informed health adjustments.

Movement. Let’s be clear: movement is non-negotiable. Even if formal exercise isn’t your thing, we’ll help you find a way to incorporate movement into your routine. It’s that critical to your health and wellness. 

Chronic states often lead to unhealthy lifestyle habits, such as lack of sleep due to stress. Let’s break them down. A great deal of research offers evidence that sleep deprivation is linked to various health risks—heart disease, weight gain, depression, and anxiety, to name a few. We explore your sleep patterns and how movement, natural light exposure, sleep hygiene, and other relaxation techniques can be beneficial, and let’s reduce these chronic states.

The encouraging news is that weight gain, sarcopenia, and pre-diabetes can be delayed by making healthy food choices, living a physically active lifestyle, and having regular check-ups with your physician. This combination delays these health risks and gives you hope and motivation for a healthier future. 

It is never too late to adapt, and we are never too old to change. You are worth it.
